Webware 100 awards - buying your vote

I saw this post (linked below) on Channel 10 this morning, then noted this ad on Techmeme this afternoon.
I guess it’s nothing new - just someone trying to buy your vote again. Oddly enough, I had already voted for Silverlight.
Oh well, no harm no foul I imagine - but it is curious!
CNET’s Webware 100 is a simple enough contest to determine the most appreciated services in the Web 2.0 universe. There are areas to choose your favorite bit of media, commerce, networking, and plenty of others.
