I finally got around to calling TiVo about these boxes tonight (see link below) - 20 minutes too late to talk to a human.

But the TiVo computerized phone attendant is very smart.  And accommodating.

Once I realized they were “closed”, and in the middle of the computer giving me options, I said, “Goodbye”.

The TiVo phone attendant said, “I think I heard you say goodbye.  Are you ready to leave us?”  VERY cool!  It knew I wanted to leave, it shut up, thanked me, and got out of my way!

Sure, I could have just hung up - but that would have been a rude thing to do to such a polite computer!

TiVo Rocks.
