Kami sent me a birthday greeting (not sure that link will work).
It had me laughing my ass off! Why? Because of one line that Kami couldn’t know I would find so funny - “Somebody ruined my mailbox”.
It’s funny because while on my way to Shreveport my kids called to tell me someone had run over my mailbox and dragged it half a block up the street! I just laughed and laughed when I heard it.
But Monday I’ll be putting in a new mailbox. I probably won’t be laughing so much then!

Happy birthday Rob. I hope you plan to play poker today, or whatever it was that you win so handily all the time. Can you tell I am not a gambler. Oh, and who says I didn’t know about the mailbox
Actually, I was in bed by 8 p.m. that night, I swear!

By the way - my daughter called me a little bit ago to tell me that this morning someone left a brand new mailbox on our porch. It appears whoever did it felt guilty!
