It is My Birthday (and I will Cry if I want to!)
I turned 47 today. So far today I have worked 16 hours in my new position at Mosso and it hasn’t really felt like work - it feels more like getting paid to learn!
Yes, I am loving what I am doing even as I neglect my community on Twitter, neglect my blog, fail to answer personal emails, neglect business partners, etc. I expect I need another week before I get my footing. So sorry for neglecting you.
That is why is pleases me so much to get all the comments, instant messages, Tweets, voicemail’s and writings on my Facebook “Wall” - all with birthday greetings - and all from people that understand why I am busy, and why I haven’t responded directly to any of them.
But rest assured - you made my birthday a special day, and each IM and “Wall posting”, every voicemail and Tweet made me smile - and I thank you for it. Collectively here, and individually when we next meet
But really - thanks - it means a lot to me!
I *did* have a very “Happy Birthday”.

@Karoli - thanks! I’m trying to schedule at least one day a week where I can join NewsGang Live. I miss the sparring

@Philip - Yes - I am sure the Saucer misses me just as much as I miss the Saucer!

Belated Happy Birthday Cuz!
I missed the actual day because I was in Europe in celebration of my 50th. (That milestone happens next month.) I am glad to see that you are happy and okay with the time passing. Just make sure that you take some time to celebrate you.

@Patrick - Congrats (early) on your 50th. I think I want to spent home, on a day our networks work (here and at home), and that my HDTV doesn’t get all pixelated due to signal loss. I have low expectations, I guess
And thanks for the birthday wishes. I am a very luck man. I can’t imagine a bad birthday!
