Farming the Twitter API

Just a quick thought - wouldn’t it be interesting to farm the Twitter API and put together some statistics on things like, “What Twitter messages announcing a new blog post are clocked through, and when”. Or, “What time of day am I most likely to get the most people click through to a minyurl link on a Twitter post?”
Like I said - just a quick thought. But I bet it would be interesting data.
