I upgraded to WordPress 2.2 today.

WP2.2 moves Widget handling to within the WP code itself.  No more need for running a Widget Plugin.  While this seems basically cool, it did break some things.  Basically, any widget that relied on the Automattic Sidebar Widget being installed and active will break.

Many themes, including mine, will break (although I kind of like the one I am using now - simple, yet functional).

So I’m tweaking things.

And here’s something interesting (to me anyway) - posts are in blue, comments are in red:
