An Unmeasured Metric?
I’ve noticed (casually - I didn’t run any numbers) that there are some blogs I can comment on or trackback to and I get a tremendous click back to my blog. And other sites that have 10x the readers have a much. much lower rate of clicking back from a comment.
I wonder if it’s worthwhile to measure this? I imagine it is - any new blogger that is blogging to make a name for themselves would like to know where to spend time commenting to have the best chance of increasing their audience.
For what it’s worth, I get a lot of click-backs on comments to TechCrunch and from Robert Scoble’s blog. I get very little click-back from LifeHacker, yet people at BlogMaverick seem to click back pretty frequently.
Is anyone measuring comment click-throughs?
Rob
