Microsoft did a “blind taste test” with a group that thought they were looking at the NEXT version of Windows - code-name Mojave.

Some of the clips showing the reaction of people that had preconceptions about Vista are pretty classic.

First, the “Oh Really?” group: http://www.mojaveexperiment.com/#/?video=v12

Then the main site: http://www.mojaveexperiment.com/

I like Vista myself, even though I am now on a Mac every day - I run Vista on it in VMware Fusion.

Nicely done, Microsoft (could have been done in Silverlight instead of Flash - perhaps after the Olympics drive more Silverlight adoption, ok?)

DSC00068Yoshi and I didn’t do much today - we pretty much just laid around and chilled out.

Yoshi got into his favorite chair and got his pillow set up just right.  And slept - for most of the day.

I didn’t sleep, but I didn’t do much work either - yesterday was spent mowing the front yard and doing other household chores.

Too bad there isn’t any NFL Football on TV yet - that would have made this a perfect Sunday :)

mac_wlw I finally found a great blogging tool for my new MacBook Pro - Windows Live Writer!

By using VMware Fusion in Unity mode I can run WLW on my Mac just like it runs on Windows.  Amazing.  And it makes me Sooooooo  Happy! :)

I went with a peer to lunch today along the San Antonio River Walk.  I showed him an “unknown” deck on the river that we could sit at, eat our lunches, and talk.  Nobody knew about this deck :)   Except the guy that showed me, and the guys that showed him (of course!)

As we were finishing our food the founders of the company I now work for walk down the stairs.

Not so secluded, I guess!

Anyway, as they joined us one of them asked me to tell him the story about a gunfight I had on a motorcycle.

I didn’t pause to think before I replied, “Which one”?

Probably not something you want to be known for – having more than one “gunfight” on a motorcycle :)

I can already tell that this story won’t leave me alone.  Two people have mentioned it since lunch.  Neither of them were AT lunch.

Be very careful what you blog about :)
